UG Civil Survey Camp 2022
Chandighat, Haridwar, Uttarakhand
From 27-Nov to 10-Dec-2022, I volunteered in the annual Survey Camp conducted by the Geospatial Division, Civil Engg. Dept., IIT Roorkee. This year it ran under the supervision of Prof. Saurabh Vijay and Prof. Siddhartha Khare. The camp was held at Chandi Ghat, Haridwar, where 2nd year UG students carried out practical field surveying exercises.
It was more than 125 hours of survey with Total Station, GPS, Drone and Satellite Remote Sensing Data.
During the two-week camp, I helped coordinate and guide 180+ UG and PG students in field activities such as measurements, data collection, and spatial mapping.
